Larson Electronics (Kemp, Texas) has added a Class 1 and Class 2 Division 1 explosion-proof LED headlamp to its lineup. The company says the EHL-LED-7W-50-HR lamp has been designed for use in hazardous areas, with a wider operating temperature range, brighter light, and drop-proof durability. The headlamp has a 50-foot SOOW cord, which reduces the need for re-lamping and maintenance, and both the light and the reel can be used in hazardous areas. Equipped with a 10-watt LED bulb, the EHL-LED-7W-50-HR is suitable for areas requiring UL Class 1 and Class 2 lighting.
