Allied Motion (Englewood, Colo.) has introduced the KinetiMax 32EB-DS brushless DC motor for double-sided applications. According to the company, the outer rotor motor and two identical bearings helps enable it to handle high side loads on both ends of the motor. In addition, it’s capable of a continuous output torque of 32 mNm and a 16-watt output at a constant speed of 4,750 RPM. The high-quality components ensure a minimum operating life of 20,000 hours. Additional features and benefits include:

  • Standard protection features, such as an IP54 protection sealing, thermal overload protection with automatic recovery and reverse supply voltage protection.
  • A two-wire version that is as simple to control as a DC motor, or a four-wire version with I/O for speed monitoring.
  • A construction that makes them idea for small dual-head membrane pumps, peristaltic pumps, blower fans and other applications requiring a long operating lifespan.
