Plex Online now supports manufacturers with approved vendor lists (AVL) for component manufacturers, allowing them to build sophisticated products that may contain several hundreds of parts from separate suppliers.
Workcenter source positioning — especially important for the electronics industry — simplifies the pick and place process in the production line. Component reels are strategically placed in the proper position for machine optimization and help workers easily determine order and position of the various components, which results in minimizing customer rejection rates and associated scrap costs.
