According to the company, it's ideal for the assembly, manufacturing, and packaging industries that require extremely accurate movement of their product and specific times. Because of its attributes, it can be used in machine integration, robotic pick-and-place, precision indexing, and more. The Precision Move includes the timing belt, integrated servo motor and drive, controls and mounting for the gearmotor. Dorner says the 3200 Series has an accurace of +/- 0.20", while the 2200 Series has an accuracy of +/- 0.40".
