Photos Of The Day: French Air Force Gets In Formation With Aerobatic Demonstration

In southern France, three members of the Dubai Jetman team flew alongside the iconic alphajet team for a nine-minute demonstration.

The Patrouille de France is believed to be the oldest aerobatic demonstration team in the world, known for exceptional pilots and mind-boggling precision flying performances.

The team's latest feat aligns with their unparralled reputation. 

In southern France, three members of the Dubai Jetman team flew alongside the iconic alphajet team for a nine-minute demonstration.

Said to be the world's first "formation flight," these images capture the dramatic aerial performance between the eight aircraft and the three jet-wing propelled flyers. 

Following the performance, Squadron Leader Christophe Dubois said, ""What a fantastic experience for us, as pilots, to be able to fly in formation with these men."

According to a release, the precision flying occurred at a reported altitude of 4,000 feet with a flight speed of 140 knots.
