BURGAW, N.C. (AP) -- A seafood processor plans a new North Carolina operation employing 120 in about four years, and expects to benefit from millions in state and local incentives to open near Wilmington.

Gov. Pat McCrory's office said Friday that RC Creations LLC will open a $25 million operation near the Pender County community of Currie. The division of New York City-based Acme Smoked Fish Corp. will import seafood and make ready-to-eat products.

A state Commerce Department spokesman says the company could benefit from nearly $15 million in state and local tax breaks, worker training, and help toward building a new wastewater treatment facility. Officials say the wastewater plant should attract further employers.

Workers would be paid an average of $33,300 a year. The county average is $28,790.
