Material handling equipment manufacturer Gorbel Inc. has announced plans to open a crane manufacturing plant in Arizona. The move is part of Gorbel’s efforts to increase the company’s presence in the western U.S.
“This new plant positions us to increase our presence in the western region of the U.S. and better serve customers in those states,” the company said in a blog post on its website.
The planned Goodyear, AZ facility will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting on July 24. Other Gorbel manufacturing facilities are located on Pell City, AL, and Tianjin, China. The company headquarters is in Fishers, NY.
