Airgas Agrees To 5-Year Contract With BAE

Industrial supplier Airgas Inc. said Thursday it has agreed to a five-year supply contract with British defense and aerospace company BAE Systems.

RADNOR, Pa. (AP) -- Industrial supplier Airgas Inc. said Thursday it has agreed to a five-year supply contract with British defense and aerospace company BAE Systems.

Radnor-based Airgas will supply BAE Systems' U.S. manufacturing locations with bulk and packaged industrial gas, welding hardgoods, and related products, as well as protective gear for workers. BAE Systems is an existing Airgas customer. Financial details of the new contract were not disclosed.

Shares of Airgas fell 19 cents to $66.01 in afternoon trading.
