Now as president-elect, Trump's harsh critiques on U.S.-China trade relations have been met with mixed reponses both from the U.S. and the global economy. Some economists and trade specialists, in fact, have signaled that a potential fallout with China could result in a trade war. 

The chart below illustrates the leading export categories of the U.S. to China in 2015, highlighting the U.S. industries that would be most at-risk if a trade war with China were to occur.

As shown in the graphic, the transportation and tech industries would be most vulnerable.
