In December, Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter and hinted that the automaker was “working on a charger that automatically moves out from the wall and connects like a solid metal snake.”
Today, Tesla published the video of this snake-like robot in action.
Is it necessary? Absolutely not, but it’s just a prototype after all. As of now, there aren’t any announcements that this charger will make it past the testing stages, which (let’s be honest) is probably a good thing.
