Gail Mellow argues that putting education in the hands of small businesses will help those entrepreneurs succeed, and that this would be hugely impactful to America. She says the Obama initiative is working to link education to the economy in a practical way, because community college isn’t just about educating, but about re-educating. Almost half of people who go to community college have been out of school for over seven years, meaning that they are enrolling to enhance their knowledge base even further.
