The automotive industry seems to be plagued by recalls, whether it was the near constant barrage of news related to the Takata airbag recalls splashed across the headlines, the GM ignition switches, or just the seemingly daily announcements of one thing or another wrong with your car. One can’t help but ask themselves, are the cars of today simply designed and constructed in an inferior way to how they were in the past? This half ton truck has carried him to and from work until retirement, and even though it is a bit rusty and worn out now, it sounds like a car you can count on.
