A Man, Hyper-Insulating Foam, And A Welding Torch

This man developed a non-toxic, biodegradable (and edible) insulating foam that is capable of keeping his hand safe from harm after a good dose of heat from the business end of a plasma torch.

This guy has a lot of faith in his product, to say the least. He's developed a non-toxic, biodegradable (and edible) insulating foam that is capable of keeping his hand safe from harm after a good dose of heat from the business end of a plasma torch. It's pretty remarkable, and according to its creator, it has a lot of real-life applications, such as protecting those caught in the middle of fires, or even stopping out-of-control reactions in nuclear power plants. Regardless of whether or not his product actually takes off, its clear he has quite a bit of confidence in it.
