This video from Philip Bloom takes a look into the Great Lakes Boat Building Company, the life's work and passion of one Mike Kiefer. The company, based out of South Haven, Mich., makes custom wooden boats, but they're still going strong, thanks to the strength of the niche market. What's most apparent is Mike's passion for what he does, and how that shows beautifully in the final product. He's even worked on the Pirates of the Carribean films, making authentic-looking boats for the cast of pirates.
