Dorner Launches New Precision Move Conveyor Platform

Dorner (Hartland, Wis.) is now offering the Precision Move, its latest in timing belting and drive technology for its 2200 and 3200 Series belt conveyors. According to the company, it's ideal for the assembly, manufacturing, and packaging industries that require extremely accurate movement of their product and specific times. Because of its attributes, it can be used in machine integration, robotic pick-and-place, precision indexing, and more. The Precision Move includes the timing belt, integrated servo motor and drive, controls and mounting for the gearmotor. Dorner says the 3200 Series has an accurace of +/- 0.20", while the 2200 Series has an accuracy of +/- 0.40".

3200 Features include Specifications include:

  • Loads up to 750 pounds Belt speeds up to 520 fpm
  • 21 tooth H (1/2”) Pitch Profile Belt widths: 3.75” to 18”
  • Positive drive, no slip belting Conveyor only accuracy +/- .01”
  • Conveyor lengths: 2.0’ to 50’ Servo package accuracy +/- .02”
  • Compatible with Dorner’s standard drives

2200 Features include Specifications include:

  • Loads up to 200 pounds Belt speeds up to 370 fpm
  • 12 tooth T10 Profile Belt widths: 1.75” to 24”
  • Positive drive, no slip belting Conveyor only accuracy +/- .02”
  • Conveyor lengths: 1.5’ to 30’ Servo package accuracy +/- .04”
  • Compatible with Dorner’s standard drives
  • Integrated Servo and Control Package
