CECOR (Verona, WI) has developed the Model SP50-500CB5 coolant Sumpcleaner, which was designed to move large fluid loads through a facility. The machine can pump coolant back into a machine tool, or transport it to a coolant recycling center. The 500-gallon tank is mounted on a battery-operated truck for maneuverability during longer hauls. According to the company, there is no need to worry about constantly plugging the cleaner into an electrical outlet or deal with air drops, because it has a self-contained, 20 HP, propane engine. A lobe-type, positive displacement pump generates suction to 13"Hg and pumps at rates up to 120 gallons per minute. An efficient overhead cam and valve design provides maximum power and torque.
