Kemp, Texas — Larson Electronics has announced the release of an explosion-proof, four-foot lamp LED light fixture that is approved for paint spray booths. The EPL-48-4L-LED light has improved output and durability over comparable fluorescent fixtures, but, according to the company, offers a lower price tag without compromising quality or safety. According to the company, the light is OSHA-certified to Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 and 2 hazardous areas, including areas where flammable petrochemical vapors and pulverized dust exist.
Additional features include:
- A slim profile that houses the company’s second-generation LED T series 24 watt lamps.
- Lamps that are rated at 50,000 hours of service life.
- A solid state design for the LED lamps with spring-loaded end sockets for better resitance to damage from vibration and extremes in temperatures.
- A unistrit, which attaches to the company’s L-bracket mouts.
