(Manufacturing.net) β Omega Engineering, Inc., has announced its new KKVM series of fused disconnect switches for general-purpose disconnects or across-the-line manual motor controls, which feature across-the-line motor starting and a general use rating of 30A. They have 3-pole, 600 Vac and an interrupting capacity rating of 10 kA. According to the company, they are ideal for automotive, chemical, packaging and general manufacturing facilities. Additional features include:
- A NEMA Type 4X (IP66) enclosure for indoor or outdoor use and resistance to many chemicals and UV exposure.
- Knock-outs on the top and bottom of the enclosure.
- Padlockable, up to 3 ΒΌβ padlocks.
- Available auxiliary contacts, and fuses sold separately.
