Universal Nozzles Cut And Polish Simultaneously

Wixom, Mich. (Manufacturing.net) — NLB Corp. yesterday announced universal heads for its Typhoon self-rotating nozzle system that can simultaneously cut through blocked tubes while polishing the tube’s inner diameter. The company says this saves users from changing the nozzle during operation.

The Typhoon nozzles clean tubes as small as 5/8” in diameter while rotating at speeds up to 7,000 rpm. The rotating action comes from the head instead of the barrel, which helps force the water, at pressures from 15,000 psi to 40,000 psi, toward the front of the system. All the nozzles are made of stainless steel and coated with titanium nitride for added durability.
