Leading Low Profile Belt Conveyor Carries More Weight

The 2200 Series low-profile belt conveyor from Dorner has received new technology, which allows for a higher weight carrying capacity: 200 pounds.

The 2200 Series low-profile belt conveyor from Dorner (Hartland, Wis.) has received new technology, which allows for a higher weight carrying capacity: 200 pounds. According to the company, the 2200 Series is able to move these heavy loads while maintaining a 1.4" diameter pulley for better part transfer and machine interface. The engineered cogged belt now features teeth that engage and grip the two sprocket pulleys on each end of the conveyor, which prevents slippage, allowing the conveyor to handle greater weights while pushing or pulling the load. Additional features include:

  • Compatability with Dorner standard drive conveyors.
  • The ability to carry loads up to 200 pounds at belt speeds of up to 370 feet-per-minute.
  • Belt widths between 1.75' and 24', and conveyor lengths between 1.5' and 30'.
