Medical device maker Boston Scientific said Thursday the U.S. government wants documents related to its Cognis and Teligen heart devices.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Medical device maker Boston Scientific said Thursday the U.S. government wants documents related to its Cognis and Teligen heart devices.

The company said in a regulatory filing that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services wants information about the launch of the two devices in 2008, and how they performed from 2007 to 2009.

The Natick, Massachusetts, company said it received the subpoena on Monday. It says it is cooperating with the government's request.
