BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- A Canadian outdoor furniture company has announced plans to open a plant in Buffalo.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office says Gracious Living Corp. is buying 50 acres of land and two vacant buildings along the city's waterfront from the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority.

It will be the first U.S. manufacturing facility for the Toronto company and is expected to create 250 jobs.

Cuomo said Thursday that Gracious Living, which makes composite furniture and housewares, will pay $4.7 million for the property and receive $2 million in tax credits tied to job creation.
