The feud between Apple Inc. and the operator of a failed sapphire glass factory in metro Phoenix is growing more intense.

Bankruptcy court filings released Friday provide new detail about the dispute between the two companies in a deal that was once hailed as success story in Arizona's effort to lure tech companies to the state.

GT Advanced Technologies accused Apple of engaging in a "classic bait-and-switch strategy" when the two companies agreed to the deal to manufacture sapphire glass at the Mesa plant for Apple products. The company recently filed for bankruptcy, and the Securities and Exchange Commission is also looking in to its business.

In a separate filing, an Apple lawyers accuses the sapphire company of making false statements about the deal, among other allegations.
