Greenville, S.C. (Manufacturing.net) — Fitesa Simpsonville, Inc., today announced its plans to expand its existing Greenville Country facility to significantly increase production capacity for its spunmelt nonwoven hygiene products. The company says its $50 million investment, which will remodel the 190,000-square-foot facility, will create at least 32 new jobs.
The Simpsonville facility, which began operations in 1990, currently employs 100. Local officials have lauded the development, saying that the company has already invested “hundreds of millions of dollars” into the local economy. Another described the company as a “high-quality employer with a strong culture of innovation.”
