Emerson Opens New Global Headquarters For Regulator Tech

Emerson Process Management has today announced the opening of its new $25 million headquarters for the design, testing and manufacture of its regulator technologies. The company says these products include pressure regulators and relief valve solutions for the oil & gas, chemical and power industries.

McKinney, Texas (Manufacturing.net) — Emerson Process Management has today announced the opening of its new $25 million headquarters for the design, testing and manufacture of its regulator technologies. The company says these products include pressure regulators and relief valve solutions for the oil & gas, chemical and power industries. The three-story, 128,000-square-foot facility will house 140 skilled employees in engineering, research and development, marketing, sales, finance and procurement.

Emerson, based out of St. Louis, Miss., employes 135,000 people worldwide, a quarter of which work for Emerson Process Management. The company is boasting $24.4 billion in global sales during the fiscal year 2012. This new headquarters comes after similar investments in Houston and Austin.

Randy Page, president of Emerson Process Management’s regulator technologies business, said: “Emerson has been a long-time community partner in McKinney and we are looking forward to begin this exciting new chapter here.
