NEW YORK (AP) -- Michelin North America Inc. is recalling about 100,000 tires normally found on some trucks and SUVs due to possible tears or holes that could cause air pressure loss.

The company said Friday that it's recalling the tires because approximately 2,500 of the recalled tires may have partial or full sidewall tears or holes that could cause the tires to lose air pressure.

No deaths, injuries or accidents have been reported in connection with the tires in the recall.

The recall includes certain sizes of Michelin LTX M/S2, Michelin X Radial LT2 and Michelin Latitude Tour tires sold mostly in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

An authorized Michelin retailer will replace the recalled tires free of charge.

Michelin said that it has fixed the problem that prompted the recall.
