BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) -- The Vermont Department of Labor is holding another session this weekend to help laid-off IBM Corp. employees.

State officials said last week that IBM had notified them that a national reorganization would result in job losses in Vermont. IBM spokesman Jeff Couture had said the company does not publicly discuss the details of staffing plans.

The Labor Department will hold a second session in Burlington on Saturday for workers laid off from the Essex Junction plant.

Department staff will provide information about services available to those who have lost their jobs, including job placement and training programs, unemployment insurance and how to research job information.

The session will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Burlington and runs 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
