FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) -- A company making high-end pontoon boats is moving to a new location in Fort Wayne with plans to double its workforce over the next couple years.

State and local officials joined Brunswick Corp. executives in a ceremony Thursday at its new factory on the city's west side at the site of a closed restaurant oven plant.

The Journal Gazette reports Brunswick expects to add 200 jobs to its workforce by 2016 as it spends perhaps $8 million on buying and equipping the factory. Brunswick is moving operations from a Fort Wayne site where it has been for 55 years.

Brunswick executive Nick Stickler tells WANE-TV the company has seen great growth in the past year and that pontoon boats sales have been going up.
