BUFFAL, N.Y. (AP) -- Food company Ralcorp Holdings Inc. says it will close two upstate New York manufacturing facilities in a move that will leave 375 workers without jobs.

The St. Louis-based company says it will close its Silver Creek and Dunkirk facilities in western New York as it shifts manufacturing to improve efficiency.

Ralcorp was recently acquired by ConAgra in a $5 billion deal that closes in March.

According to its website, the Dunkirk facility produces pourable and spoonable dressings, table syrup, beverage mixes and seasonal grape pulp and juice.

The Silver Creek facility operates as Petri Baking Products and makes cookies.

The company didn't say Thursday when the cuts will take effect. Ralcorp has 40 manufacturing facilities across the country, including two others in western New York.
