4-month Strike At Peugeot Citroen Plant Ends

PSA Peugeot Citroen said Friday that it had signed an agreement with the CGT union to end the strike, which started in January. The CGT called the strike "suspended."

Dow says it will appeal. The Feb. 20 jury verdict in federal court in Kansas City, Kan., was for Dow to pay $400 million in damages.

Alcoa Cuts 500 Jobs In Canada

A planned upgrade for the facility in Quebec is being pushed back by three years, to 2019, the company said.

U.S. Consumer Prices Fall On Cheaper Gas

Excluding the drop in fuel costs, prices were largely unchanged. The consumer price index fell 0.4 percent in April from March, the Labor Department said Thursday.
