CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (AP) -- A Montgomery County official says a CraftMaster plant targeted for closure will remain open.
The Christiansburg plant was expected to close Dec. 31.
County manager Craig Meadows tells The Roanoke Times (http://bit.ly/TvKqr7) that the plant's manager notified the county Tuesday that CraftMaster parent Jeld-Wen decided to keep the plant open.
The plant employs about 130 workers, most of whom are full time.
