Ohio Firm Gets $15.4 Million Air Force Contract

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (AP) — A southern Ohio manufacturer has landed a $15.4 million U.S. Air Force contract.

The Dayton Daily News (https://bit.ly/U0lpDi ) reports Friday that U.S. Aeroteam Inc. has been awarded a contract to build 86 jet engine ground transport trailers for C-17 aircraft.

The Beavercreek-based company said the contract could add 10 jobs.

One of five bidders for the contract, the company with about 60 employees is under agreement to complete the job by July 30, 2013. It already has built about half of the 41 trailers ordered under a previous deal.

The trailers will be delivered to more than 20 locations around the world.
