Company To Bring Nearly 135 Jobs To Alabama

FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) — A Japan-based company is expected to announce plans to open a manufacturing facility in Alabama.
 
The TimesDaily reports (https://bit.ly/QaMhlR) that TASUS Corp. produces plastic automotive parts and has clients that include most major North American automobile manufacturers.
 
Among its clients are North American Lighting, which has been operating in Muscle Shoals since 2005. It has about 350 workers, with plans to expand to about 600 by 2014.
 
Gov. Robert Bentley's office confirmed TASUS will have about 135 jobs at the Florence plant and will make a $19.1 million investment. The project is expected to include construction of a new plant.
