Two Hospitaized After Spokane Valley Plant Fire

In all, 14 people were identified as having been exposed to potentially toxic smoke at Precision Manufacturing, but only two were seriously injured.

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane Valley firefighters have responded to a Friday evening fire at a manufacturing plant in Liberty Lake, Wash. The fire department says two people were sent to a hospital to be checked out for respiratory symptoms after inhaling smoke.

In all, 14 people were identified as having been exposed to potentially toxic smoke at Precision Manufacturing.

Employees called 911 while other employees worked to contain the fire with extinguishers and a garden hose.

Fire officials say damage was minimal. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
