Employees Counseled At Plant Where Two Died

Trans-Coil International's is offering help after an employee fatally shot his supervisor and then killed himself at the Milwaukee facility.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Counselors are meeting with employees at a Milwaukee manufacturing plant where police say an employee fatally shot his supervisor and then killed himself.

Trans-Coil International CEO Steven Copp says the counselors will be available throughout the day Friday.

Authorities say the 58-year-old supervisor was shot multiple times about 6 p.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police say the 23-year-old male employee was found inside the plant with a gunshot wound to the head. A handgun was recovered at the scene.

The men have not been identified.

Production at the plant has been shut down. Copp tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (https://bit.ly/T69HIJ ) operations may resume Sunday evening.
