FERNDALE, Wash. (AP) -- The Coast Guard says a 140-foot cylinder of nitrogen landed in shallow water when a crane failed at the BP Cherry Point refinery near Ferndale, Wash.

Petty Officer Nathan Bradshaw says one worker suffered a leg injury in the accident reported Friday morning.

There is no leak and no danger from nitrogen, but the Coast Guard and pollution experts have responded.
