Siemens received a contract from the steel strip producer Hoesch Hohenlimburg GmbH, a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG, to modernize the medium-wide-strip hot-rolling mill at the company's Hagen location. In the course of the project, five rolling stands will be completely replaced and two additional stands will be revamped in the finishing mill.
