DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- An Illinois-based manufacturer of medical supplies says it plans to open a manufacturing plant in Douglas County, creating 141 jobs.
Medline Industries Inc. of Mundelein, Ill., already operates a distribution center in Douglasville. The company and state officials announced plans for the plant on Thursday.
Medline manufactures and distributes medical supplies and equipment for healthcare providers, including hospitals, nursing homes, extended care facilities, surgery centers, home healthcare and physician practices.
