A southeast Missouri man is dead and another man is hospitalized with serious injuries following a workplace accident.
The Kennett Daily Dunklin Democrat reports the accident happened Tuesday at the Oakley Inc. site at the Pemiscot County Port Authority. Two male employees had fallen from a catwalk inside the plant.
Pemiscot County Lt. Ryan Holder says one worker was killed. The second was flown to a hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Names of both men have not been released.
