Kane’s Customers Will Be Comfortable with Financing Backed by GE Money

KETTERING, OHIO and TAMPA, FLA. — August 26, 2010 — Comfort and quality are essential in the retail furniture business, which explains why Kane’s Furniture selected GE Money as its consumer financing partner.

The new Kane’s Furniture Card and the Savon Furniture Card, which both debut on August 25, are backed by GE Money, one of the nation’s leading consumer financing lenders with more than seven decades of consumer credit experience.  With the new financing program, customers at all 17 Kane’s and Savon stores can apply for credit and get fast responses, often within seconds.

“We think our customers will love our new financing program,” said Daniel Klein, executive vice president for Kane’s.  “GE Money’s customer service is outstanding.  The credit application process is fast and you get credit decisions back right away.  Plus, we like the resources available through their Business Center website.”

The Business Center is GE Money’s password protected website that provides a suite of marketing tools to their retail partners.  By leveraging the Business Center Kane’s and Savon stores can track credit sales by location, provide sales training and a lot more.

GE Money pioneered consumer financing more than 75 years ago and today provides financing services to more than one million businesses.

“Our experience in the retail sector is what separates us from other lenders,” said Paul Boeckman, vice president of sales, GE Money.  “Our credit program is designed to build business, increase sales and provide outstanding customer service.  We support retailers at every level of their business.”
