BROOKLYN, Ohio (AP) -- Workers at a Hugo Boss factory in suburban Cleveland are celebrating the first suit to come off the line since they reached an agreement with the German company to keep the plant open.
Hugo Boss had planned to close the men's suit manufacturing plant in Brooklyn by April, but reached an agreement earlier this year with the union representing workers.
Gov. Ted Strickland, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown and U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich were on hand with about 200 workers Monday to celebrate completion of the two-button wool suit in charcoal gray. A power failure moved the ceremony outdoors.

The plan to close the plant drew attention from actor and activist Danny Glover, who met with workers and asked Hollywood not to wear Hugo Boss suits to the Oscars.
