DALLAS (AP) -- Chemical maker Celanese Corp. said Tuesday it will increase the price of all its acrylic-based emulsions in North America effective Sept. 15 or as contracts allow.
The company said the price of pure acrylic emulsions will increase by 6 cents per wet pound and vinyl-acrylic emulsions by 2 cents per wet pound.
The price increase affects applications such as adhesives, paint and coatings, paper, non-wovens and textiles.
Shares of Celanese rose 7 cents to close at $26.50.
