Iams Moving Ohio Headquarters

Procter & Gamble says the headquarters of its Iams pet-care business will move to Mason near Cincinnati in October, and all 240 employees are expected to transfer.

VANDALIA, Ohio (AP) -- Procter & Gamble Co. says the headquarters of its Iams pet-care business will move from Vandalia, Ohio, north of Dayton to Mason near Cincinnati in October.

P&G pet-care spokesman Jason Taylor said Thursday the company expects all 240 employees at the Iams headquarters to transfer. Vandalia and Mason are about 35 miles apart.

Taylor says the new Iams headquarters will be located at P&G's existing facility in Mason where work is done on the company's pharmaceutical and health-care products.

Taylor says the move will enable all of the employees at the Mason facility to collaborate more closely and will allow for a better flow of ideas and talent.
