ST LOUIS -- Sabreliner Corporation has announced key promotions and organizational changes at its St. Louis headquarters and Southeast Missouri operations.
In support of the continuing opportunities for the company in the government aviation and aerospace subcontracting areas, D. J. “Jim” Meier is promoted to senior vice president, government and subcontracting services. He previously served as vice president, government services. In addition, Gene Harbula’s position has been changed to senior vice president, strategic development. Both report to F. Holmes Lamoreux, chairman and chief executive officer.
Cindy Tekeser has been promoted to director, contracts and reports to Meier.
“These moves recognize the contributions of individuals, the growth of our government and subcontracting business and the opportunities ahead for Sabreliner in such markets as commercial Learjet 30 series service and helicopter support,” explains Lamoreux.
At the company’s Southeast Missouri operations, more than $13 million has been invested in the last three years in technology, training and facilities expansion. Recent organizational changes facilitate managing that growth more efficiently, while addressing the challenge of maintaining and expanding business in today’s difficult economic climate, notes Lamoreux. The new structure focuses even more strongly on customer relationships that are vital to current and future business, he adds.
Mark Weir, vice president, Ste. Genevieve operations, assumes the additional responsibilities of managing Ste. Genevieve engineering, Southeast Missouri tooling manufacturing and Ste. Genevieve facilities.
Jay Hoffer moves from the Perryville operation to become senior director, St. Mary operations, with responsibility for all aspects of the St. Mary business including manufacturing engineering, processing center, estimating and planning and St. Mary facilities.
The responsibilities of Craig Anderson, senior director, quality assurance and product integrity, are expanded to include Perryville engineering and planning.
John Hampton has been promoted to director, government aircraft services, at the Perryville operation. He is now responsible for the company’s T-34, T-44, C-21 and T-39 programs.
