OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- The defense-related division of Oshkosh Corp. has received a defense contract that could be worth as much as $1.12 billion over 10 years.
The contract with the Defense Department's Defense Logistics Agency calls for replacement parts for military trucks.
The one-year deal can be renewed annually for up to 10 years.
The parts will be used on Oshkosh's tactical trucks, which are used for transport and logistics, not combat operations.
Last month the U.S. Army gave Oshkosh Defense a $250 million contract to provide 825 new military vehicles. That followed a November contract worth $51 million for Oshkosh to provide armor upgrades for military vehicles.
Shares of Oshkosh Corp. rose 96 cents, or 9.3 percent, to $11.26 in morning trading Monday.
