Boeing 787 Dreamliner Orders Top 900

New order for 15 787s for an unidentified customer makes a total of 910 orders for the delayed fuel-efficient widebody.

SEATTLE (AP) -- Boeing Co.'s Web site lists a new order for 15 787s to an unidentified customer.

That makes a total of 910 orders for the delayed fuel-efficient widebody.

Boeing spokeswoman Yvonne Leach said Monday it is up to customers to disclose their identity.

Last week, Boeing announced that the first flight of the 787 would be delayed until mid-2009, almost two years behind the original schedule. The company blamed a machinists union strike and production problems for the latest delay. The first plane won't be delivered until 2010.

Boeing's Web site also shows an unidentified buyer for two 777s. That puts the total jetliner orders for the year, through Dec. 9, at 657 planes of all models.
