Industrial supplier Curtiss-Wright Corp. on Monday said it named David J. Linton and David C. Adams to the new positions of co-chief operating officers.

ROSELAND, N.J. (AP) -- Industrial supplier Curtiss-Wright Corp. on Monday said it named David J. Linton and David C. Adams to the new positions of co-chief operating officers.

Linton has served as president of the company's flow control segment since May 2004. Adams joined Curtiss-Wright's motion control segment in 2000 and was named as its president in June 2005.

The appointments are part of a new organizational structure designed to boost growth in the company's aerospace, defense and energy markets.

In addition, Adams will also assume responsibility for Curtiss-Wright's metal treatment segment, replacing Edward Bloom who will retire as the segment's president in April after 35 years with the company.

Bloom, who joined the company in 1973, will continue to serve as a consultant, Curtiss-Wright said.
