Anheuser-Busch Names New Executives

Maker of Bud Light and Budweiser, now a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev since the $52 billion deal closed on Tuesday, has named its new leadership team.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Anheuser-Busch named its new leadership team on Thursday, following the closing earlier this week of its sale to InBev.

The St. Louis-based maker of Bud Light and Budweiser is now a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, since the $52 billion deal closed on Tuesday.

Anheuser-Busch President Dave Peacock told employees in a memo Thursday of the new leadership team.

Evan C. Athanas will stay on has vice president of sales and David R. English continues as vice president and general manager of non-alcohol beverages.

Keith S. Levy, currently vice president of brand management, will be vice president of marketing, while Anthony J. Short, who has been with the company since 1986, will be vice president of business and wholesaler development.

Marie C. Carroll, who started with Anheuser-Busch in 1980, has been named vice president of commercial planning and performance management.

Bob Lachky will continue as chief creative officer, Peacock said.
