WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Spirit AeroSystems Inc., which designs and manufactures fuselages, propulsion systems and wing systems for commercial and military aircraft, said Tuesday it has signed a deal to supply structural parts and components for Continental Airlines Inc.'s fleet of Boeing aircraft.
Terms of the multiyear deal between Wichita-based Spirit and Houston-based Continental were not disclosed.
Spirit said Continental currently operates 370 Boeing airplanes, consisting of 737, 757, 767 and 777 models.
Continental is the fifth-largest airline in the United States.
