MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Rockwell Automation Inc. is eliminating 168 New Hampshire jobs.
The company will close its Allen-Bradley manufacturing plant in Manchester by the end of the year.
A company spokesman said 12 of the workers will be able to transfer to Rockwell's Chelmsford, Mass., plant.
Milwaukee-based Rockwell Automation will move the bulk of the work to other facilities it already operates in Iowa, Wisconsin, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
The Manchester plant produces safety equipment.
